Next STL Meeting is October 18

The work of the STL Committee continues and press releases announcing our organization have now been sent to all of the local newspapers. The April election is still many months away, but the task of selecting our five qualified candidates and educating them on key library issues is ongoing. The main topics to be discussed at the upcoming meeting are candidate selection, fundraising strategies, and outreach to members of the community.

If you would like to join us to learn more about our efforts, the next meeting of the Support the Library organization will be held next Thursday.  Here are the meeting details:

As we have written in previous web posts, even if you are not able to attend the STL meetings, there are many other ways that you can help the cause.
