Our contact list is growing larger as we ramp up our efforts to reach out to residents of Carol Stream who recognize that the current Library Board does not represent their interests or the best interests for the future of our library. Members of our organization will continue to meet on a regular basis to discuss candidates and strategies for winning the elections next April. 

The next meeting of the Support the Library organization will be held this coming Thursday, and we invite all interested people to join us  Here are the meeting details:

Next STL Meeting is September 11

We are pleased to announce that our list of volunteers is growing and, as a result, the efforts of our organization are continuing to build momentum as we move forward with our plans to select and support a full slate of qualified and informed candidates for the five Library Board trustee positions that will be on the ballot in next April's consolidated election. We will need many people to help the cause in the months ahead by attending meetings, writing and preparing materials to distribute to residents, hosting neighborhood meetings, or just speaking out about our plans to "take back our library" to friends and neighbors.
